Pond
House was built in the 1920’s and was the home of Anson K.
Cross who founded the Cross Art School, offering instruction over
the summer season and home study courses by mail. The house interior
echoes the Arts and Crafts period with its wide oak moldings, oak
doors, window walls and pine floors throughout. The yard and gardens
slope to the pond, a commercial source of ice during the early years
and now a fishing hole for herons, kingfishers and gulls.
